Hi. I'm Jo. I'm from Gizzy, born and bred. Now I'm living in the Bay with my best bud/hubby Josh and love it just as much. I love taking photos and I love people, so when I combine the two I'm in my element. I've had a growing relationship with photography since I was a kid, watching my mum and dad take pictures. I used to love listening to them tell me why the light was so fascinating, why a low sun casts interesting shadows and how to look for shapes and texture.

When I got my big sister's little Haminex 35mm point and shoot at 13, I was away! I came to realize quite young how much the people in my life matter to me, and they became the focus of my photography. Now, 20+ years on, I look for others who love their people to bits, and capture their friendships, family bonds, and love stories to treasure. For a job. I know, pretty fun.

I've been working as a photographer for 15 years, but I'm always learning. I'm currently working with a beautiful Sony a9 kit sponsored by Carters Photographics. This has opened up a world of new things for me to learn and grow with.
